BlueStreet Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Deltek Costpoint Principal Consultant to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. BlueStreet has been providing world-class financial products and services, which include financial consulting, back-office services, Deltek system implementations, and reporting tools for government contractors for over 15 years. The candidate must be a self-starter and team player who is ready to take on new initiatives and innovations in a fast-paced environment.  As part of our growing organization, this person will have in-depth technical and functional knowledge of Costpoint.  This position reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities 

·         Apply advanced accounting or finance and technical skills to perform routine and/or non-routine tasks to implement accounting ERP systems or providing business intelligence services. 
·         Coordinate implementation resources to ensure timely project delivery and optimal resource utilization. 
·         Responsible for conducting system reviews, system design/set-up, and ensuring compliance or report-writing. 
·         Prepare updates and status reports. 
·         Coach functional users on use and maintenance of implementation tools and templates if applicable. 
·         Check work to ensure quality control – may orient, train, assign, and review the work of junior staff. 
·         Responsible for providing excellent customer service and meeting assigned deliverables for assigned projects. 
·         Works under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish a variety of tasks and goals. Orients, trains, and checks the work of lower-level employees. 
·         Performs other implementation/ accounting related tasks as assigned 
·         Perform implementation tasks in adherence to established controls/procedures; may conduct research and analysis to resolve issues or develop new processes and procedures 

Qualifications 

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, MBA and/or CPA certification 
·         6+ years of ERP implementation experience. 
·         3+ years of experience implementing Deltek Costpoint 
·         Advanced knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting required; knowledge of government contract accounting principles and FAR strongly preferred. 
·         Proficient in computers and standard office applications (specifically in Microsoft Excel).
·         Proficient with accounting package Deltek Costpoint. 
·         Able to effectively lead a team. Serve as a mentor to mid-level consultants. 
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. 
·         Able to pursue opportunities to provide additional products and services to clients. 
·         Strong project management skills required 
·         US Citizen required

This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office presence alongside the option to work from home.
